Open call

We are looking for 12 participants (dancers, actors, performers, no experience needed) to join the stage ensemble for the music-theatre performance by artist Colin Self at the Indigo Festival 2025. This is an energetic and playful performance built on improvisation, group responsiveness, and the exploration of queer spirituality and stories that have long existed on the margins of society. More than expertise or technical skill, what matters most is curiosity and a willingness to play. We are seeking queer, trans, BIPOC individuals, and anyone interested in connecting with the spirit world.

What to expect

• learning simple choreography, wearing masks/costumes/makeup
• minimal use of the voice/singing
• a 3-hour rehearsal and introduction the day before the show
• a tech rehearsal and live performance on the main stage of the Indigo Festival 2025

Schedule

• Rehearsal & introduction: October 8, 2025, 5:00–8:00 PM
• Tech rehearsal: October 9, 2025, 2:00–4:00 PM
• Performance on the Indigo Festival main stage: October 9, 2025, 9:00 PM

What we offer?

The performance will be symbolically compensated (€50 per person), and every participent will also receive: 2 festival tickets for Indigo Festival days, 2 vouchers for exhibitions at Cukrarna Gallery, and an Indigo Festival tote bag.
