Invitation to collaborate on an artistic project by Hassan Khan

As part of the upcoming exhibition GESTUS at Cukrarna, opening on April 15, 2025, internationally acclaimed artist Hassan Khan is inviting four actors to take part in the filming of an improvised performance. The recording will be presented as part of the exhibition.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

• A man (approximately 60 years old)
• A woman (30–45 years old)
• A teenager (15–17 years old)
• An actor (any gender) to play the role of a person carrying shopping bags

WHAT WE EXPECT 

• Basic knowledge of English
• Openness and ease in front of the came
• No prior acting experience required

SCHEDULE

• Interviews: Monday and Tuesday, March 31 and April 1, 2025
• Filming: Monday and Tuesday, April 7 and 8, 2025
• The work is paid

Video instructions: 

• For the first three roles (man, woman, teenager): record yourself telling a joke of your choice in your own style
• For the shopping bag carrier role: record yourself carrying heavy shopping bags while telling the story of your life
