The fourth edition of Performativa will feature two exceptional artworks: a presentation of work by German artist Eva Meyer-Keller and the première of a performance by the local duo Kristina Aleksova and Anita Wach.

7 p.m. is the designated time for Eva Meyer-Keller’s performance of her iconic 2000s piece Death Is Certain. This visually and politically charged composition features cherries as the main protagonists. Meyer-Keller creates a battlefield on an ordinary kitchen table. She uses this space to playfully explore individual associations and collective remembrances of images of literary and cinematic deaths and the mediated "reality" of wars and executions. The performance creates a grotesque juxtaposition of the mundane and the cruel spectacle, playing with feelings of absurdity, comedy and discomfort.

The evening continues with the première of A Moment When Everything Stops a performance by Kristina Aleksova and Anita Wach at 8 p.m. It explores the cyclical nature of movement and social paradigms, raising questions about the possibility of stopping or the inevitability of continuation. Both works focus on exploring repetition, inevitability and cyclical character, using minimalist but undeniably impactful visual imagery. They highlight the precision of their performance and challenge the limits of the spectator’s perception.
