Štěpánka Balcarová is a leading Czech jazz musician of the younger generation and an outstanding composer and arranger.
She leads her own orchestra and performs as a trumpet soloist. For this special occasion, she composed the suite Chronos for the RTV Slovenia Big Band and soloist, trumpeter Tomaž Gajšt. Vocal soloist Ana Čop will also be performing.
The jazz concert series presented by Ars features some of the finest Slovenian and international jazz ensembles and soloists.
The concert will be broadcast live on the Ars Program and on RTV365.
